What is the Drum Sieve?
The DPG Drum Sieve is a pre-cleaning machine for grain intake. It removes oversize and undersize impurities such as pieces of wood, stones and straw. Good pre-cleaning lowers the maintenance load on the cleaning machines that follow and improves the quality of the cleaned product.
How it works
A slowly rotating perforated drum receives the grain stream. Grain passes through the perforations while larger impurities travel along the inside of the drum and are discharged at the end.
