What is the Screw Conveyor?
A screw conveyor, or auger conveyor, uses a rotating helical screw blade, called flighting, usually inside a tube, to move granular materials. DPG screw conveyors are used to move grain, flour, bran and intermediate products between machines.
How it works
As the screw turns, the flighting pushes material along the trough or tube. Inlets and outlets can be placed along its length, and slide gates can be fitted for intermediate discharge.
