What is the Impact Detacher?
The DPG Impact Detacher is installed after reduction roller mills. It breaks up the flakes and cakes formed on smooth rolls so that flour is released before the product reaches the plansifter, which supports flour yield.
How it works
Product drops into a rotor that throws it against an impact ring. The impact loosens compacted flakes without reducing bran into fine particles.
